About Us

Callsbeck Fellowship Chapel, located in the northeast part of Winnipeg, is a member church of the Chortitzer Mennonite Conference. What began as a church plant by the CMC in the 1960's became known as the Erin Street Mission Chapel. In 1993, a new building in East Kildonan was completed and dedicated. The church has since been known as the Callsbeck Fellowship Chapel. The building proves to be versatile as a sanctuary, gymnasium, and auditorium. All parts of the building are ground level and handicap accessible.

Callsbeck Fellowship Chapel is a small church with an attendance of approximately 80 people on a Sunday morning. There is a mix of people from all age groups from children to seniors. Many are from Mennonite background and can speak Low German, but there are also a number of people from different backgrounds and nationalities. All services are English only.

In addition to Sunday services, the church hosts Crossroads Club for children, a youth program, and a monthly Seniors' Faspa. These activities run from fall to spring and break for the summer.
